Auroricorns

In the distant, snowy land of Starlight Ridge, beyond the reaches of Equestria, live the mysterious Auroricorns. They are wary of strangers, but love playing in the snow and warming up with hot chocolate. Auroricorns can do levitation like unicorns, and their magic looks like ribbons of the aurora. When they are particularly happy, their magic gets stronger and it creates aurora flares in the sky that look like rainbows filled with stars. They like putting on events and celebrations with music, fortune telling and more hot chocolate (they really like hot chocolate).

Auroricorns have crystal hooves and horns, sparkly legs and hair, and blue or purple coats. Their Cutie Marks are solid 3D hexagons with pictures on them, rather than being coloured fur like other ponies. They often wear jewelry around their horns and necks.
